Thanks to everyone who heeded the call. We conducted a successful Heat Watch Campaign Tuesday, July 29, 2025. We had 11 teams to drive their routes 3 times. 6am, 3pm and 7pm. We  did have some rain, but we persevered. CAPA strategies in California will take the data and then clean it up and return it to us so we can use it to make comparisons and map our community. We will use the data to make decisions about where trees are needed and other heat reducing strategies. We were able to pay 34 people an average of $125.00 for their time.  This was a collaborative effort with the New Orleans East Green Infrastructure Collective.
